This second seminar, hosted by David Clinch, HSF partner in the energy, infrastructure and mining groups in Asia, focused on investment protection in certain Southeast Asian jurisdictions and how that can be managed, with case studies based upon HSF experience as examples. The seminar covered a number of specific touchpoints including treaty protection considerations, structuring options, and local law, contractual and other protections that may be employed before, during, and after the life of the investments.
